The Pro Backband is now better than ever!
Crafted from high-density molded EVA foam, the backband delivers superior comfort and support, helping to reduce fatigue during long paddling sessions. It is especially beneficial in whitewater as it allows the paddler to fully engage with the boat. The reinforced, adjustable straps ensure a customizable fit, while the new, heavy-duty buckles offer enhanced security and easier adjustments. We also added two 3/4 in straps to the back so you don't need to use your compression straps to connect the backband to the packraft. All this makes a smoother, faster and more customizable set up.
A convenient rear zipper pocket adds storage space for small essentials like snacks or a repair kit, making it as practical as it is comfortable. Weighing just 0.6 lbs (0.3 kg) and built with mil-spec webbing, this lightweight yet durable backband is designed to withstand any adventure.
To attach the EVA Pro backband, first thread the 1 1/2in straps through the mid point ladder locks on the packraft. Then back through the new buckles built into the backband. Next connect the smaller 3/4in straps on the back of the backband to the ladder locks on the stern of the packraft. Adjust the tension to hold the backband up and then thread the end of the strap through the small tri-glide clip to secure the strap.
Note: The Pro Backband is not compatible with the Hornet-Lite or Rogue-Lite model packrafts.
