The Quiver Killer.

We took our most versatile, best-selling packraft, and upped the game.

The Rogue is award-winning for a reason. (A handful of reasons, actually). Weighing in at only 9.1lb (4.1kg), and packing down to the size of a (large) roll of paper towels, it’s become the standard for portability and durability.

We kept the best-in-class 210d DuPontTM Kevlar® Aramid-Nylon Blend* reinforced floor system for increased durability on the water. We kept the 210d TPU + Nylon sidewalls for the perfect combination of strength and weight. We kept the spraydeck to keep you warm and dry, and add extra reinforcement in high-wear areas - perfect for bikepacking. THEN...we took it off.

And put it back on! The new Rogue R-Deck features a removable spraydeck - there when you need it, conveniently zips off and stows when you don’t.

Rated up to Class II rivers, the Rogue R-Deck is now THE packraft for bikepacking, backpacking, high alpine lakes, fishing, climbing, travel, whatever you can throw at it, wherever you can throw it.

Add the optional TiZip zipper to store gear inside your packraft for multi-day trips.

We recommend always cleaning and drying your packraft after every paddle. With the removable spraydeck it is important to keep the zipper clean and free of debris as well as lubed up from time to time to ensure smooth operation of the zipper when removing or installing the spraydeck.

First impressions and tips

"Love this boat and can’t wait to plan a multiday adventure around it. Kokopelli customer service was incredibly responsive to my questions prior to purchase. Highly recommend! For those wondering, I opted for the T-Zip feature as well as adding a spray skirt. Everything (excluding life vest and floor pump): boat, seat, seat back, spray skirt, four-piece paddle, skirt hoop fits into a 30L dry bag. For those planning to bikepack. I recommend the inexpensive Piscifun 30L bag. Also, unless you are just doing paddle trips out of your vehicle, I don’t recommend purchasing a floor pump. You really only need the small electronic pump and the mouth hose. I carry the fill bag just for backup in case the electronic pump malfunctions."

MacGyver Boat

"Pretty neat how you can change it up and paddle it with or without the deck"

Great versatility; recommend rivers, not lakes

"Purchased two Rogue with TiZip about 1. 5 years ago as Christmas present for myself and my wife. There was a shipping problem (only one arrived instead of two) but Kokopelli quickly rectified that. (Thank you!). Bought them because we have limited garage space and can’t afford more rooftop space on the car (we already have bikes and a camper). So wanted something very packable and light to give us options. I also have a dream of bikepacking but need some more vacation time for that. Product use: One of the Featherlight pumps broke with only a couple of uses. So thinking I want a back up. They inflate super fast with the pump. They are light and easy to carry and store. I haven’t found that they pack down that small easily and need to figure out a good storage bag for them. First use was in the BWCA on a campground based trip (i. e. not portaging or going long distance). Did not do well with tracking on large, windy open lakes like in the BWCA but were fun nonetheless. Best on river’s going downstream. Had them out on IL’s Rock River twice. Yesterday for a 3 hour downstream ride. They did great on the calm water. Very comfortable. I like having the spray skirt off in hot summer to allow more water to drip on you to keep you cool. Looking forward to trying out on the Kinnikinnic River in Wisconsin and the local lakes in Minneapolis. Haven’t yet tried the TiZips (been cautious while just trying out the boat), but will try them on next outing after I clean up boat and lubricate the zips."

The bike rafting packraft

"I got to test this out at a whitewater festival in Oregon this year. I loved the size and fit of it and decided to buy it a week later from my local paddle shop. I just did a bike rafting trip in Moab and it was so fun! This boat is a little bit heavier than the rogue lite but the backband and extra length make the world of difference when paddling a longer stretch of river with a bike strapped to the bow."

great all around boat

"Great all all around boat. I love how many things it can do"

Great value compared to competition

"This raft has a high quality build and seems durable. Have taken it on multiple multi-day trips and it has performed well."

First timer, first impression.

"I finally got a chance to use my Rogue R-Deck. On a calm lake. I had hoped it would track better and it was slow requiring a lot of effort from this old person. No doubt my paddle stroke could use a lot of improvement. It appeared best served floating downriver not on a lake. Very comfortable. Rolls up small, lightweight, easy to carry to launch."

Wonderful design and lightweight

"I love my Rogue R-Deck (removable spraydeck) pack raft. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver in the water. It was a Father's Day gift and I'm excited for the adventures ahead."

TANYA W. (5/5)

Perfect Adventure Companion

"I absolutely love my Rogue R-deck! So far I've hiked into various areas to paddle, flown with it, and transported it throughout the Southwest and parts of the Midwest. Very happy I added the TiZip option as well as that has come in handy a few times in just the past couple of months. Can't wait to see where I go with this packraft the rest of the year and beyond!"

Q&A

What is the weight capacity?
300 pounds which is person and gear. Over that you won't sink but the boat will be a lot harder to control.
What is the weight limit?
The Rogue R-Deck is rated to 300 pounds which is person and gear.
Which kayak tracks the best and which is best for the sea.
The Moki Kayaks will track the best since they are longer and have a trcking fin. For packrats the Twain tracks the best followed by the XPD. Packrafts in general do not track well do to their size and shape but thats the trade off for them being so light and small. Usually good paddle technique can make more of a difference than a tracking fin.
would use it on our lake and bring expensive photo equipment. Floor sturdy for tripod? How easy to get in and out w/o getting wet
Hey Hugh, The Rogue R-Deck is super stable. We recommend launching your packraft while it is in the water so the bottom does't get scraped up, so sometimes your feet get wet, but occasionally its ok or try and stand on rocks and then get in to stay dry.
