Inflatable Floor with Integrated Seat

Need more flotation or a spare floor? The Inflatable Floor with Integrated Seat is engineered to run whitewater while keeping you on top of the water.

Reinforced to survive dogs, fish hooks, or boots, the Inflatable Floor tapers from a 7 in (17.8 cm) seat to a 4 in (10.2 cm) floor and attaches to the stern of the packraft with a 1 in (2.5 cm) piece of webbing.

The Inflatable Floor with Integrated Seat comes standard with the Nirvana Self-Bailing and Recon Self-Bailing packrafts but is an option for Rogue R-Deck or Nirvana Spraydeck paddlers who don’t mind extra weight and want an extra chamber of air.

The inflatable floor will fit in an XPD or Rogue Lite but it is tight and not recommended.

The inflatable floor comes in a few different materials: 210d Ripstop Nylon is the standard, but we also have 210d and 840d Kevlar for a tougher more rigid floor.

Some of the floors also have a PRV which is a pressure relief valve. The valve will automatically release air if the pressure gets too high from over inflation or leaving the packraft in the sun.

The Rodeo Floor + Seat is a two part set with an inflatable floor and an inflatable seat designed to only fit the TPU or PVC Rodeo packraft.

Great seat, got the Kevlar!

"You didn't hear it from me (well I guess you did), but this seat/floor works great in a Twain. Does it cover the entire bottom of the boat? No. Is it designed for the Twain? No. BUT it adds a nice high back seat and if you have a person in front they can sit on this floor or put another seat on top to elevate a bit. Firms up the Twain some and lessens the tub seat feeling, and really makes it float high and dry. I fish a lot our of my Twain and it is the bomb for that."

Luv it. Heavy duty floor

"Since i purchased my recon i had wished it came with a tougher floor. 2 years later i had a small puncture on my 210d floor, wich i was able patch quickly, but i decided to order anoyher floor for spare, just in case. To my surprise they had an 820d floor. Almost as thick as the recon wich is 1000d and 1mm thick. This thing is though i dont see any way i will puncture this. Love this new floor. It is slightly larger than the original floor. So its a tight fit. But work great."

Great replacement!

"I got the super tough version to prevent leaks. It’s a lot bulkier to pack, but good for fishing."

Tough and stiffer for sitting on.

"That’s it. Over pressure release valve is great being it’s black. Heavier so if you’re not carrying it too far it’s better for abuse and shouldn’t have to worry about it"

The old floor with the

"The old floor with the separate seat seems to work a lot better than the new one with the integrated seat"

Hard to order as the web site showed it out of stock

"It took me 2 months to obtain a replacement floor/seat for my beloved Nirvana after the seat burst. No stock in Canada, and very expensive international shipping from Kokopelli. I even tried ordering from the UK. I finally decided to pay the crazy shipping costs, but by then the seat showed as out of stock. I checked regularly at the Kokopelli site and the Canadian distributor. Canadian River Supply told me there would be no more floor/seats until spring, at best. Finally, even though the Kokopelli website showed the floor/seat as out of stock, I tried adding it to my cart and it worked! There had been floor/seats all along! It should not have been this diffiuclt."

Great floor. Makes the Recon even better.

"Great floor. Nice addition to the Recon. Makes it quicker on the water."

Beware strong winds

"The seat performs well, but be careful about it heating up in the sun. I can see how that could be a problem. Also, the attachment to the Recon is not as secure as I'd like it to be. Beware strong winds. We had a microburst come through and it was strong enough to blow the strap right out of the buckle on the Recon. The seat was lost. I had to rig a paco pad as seat and buy a new seat after the trip."

Wish I'd got this earlier

"Wish I'd got this earlier. The small addition in weight is made up for 10 times over in increased paddling efficiency due to the extra rigidity, especially with weight on the bow. Used with a spray deck it also tightens up the interior to be kayak-like. The D7 valve is a big step up in durability and function too, can get it really rigid. For anything longer than about 2 days it's easily worth the extra grams."

Floor replaced free

"The floor in my raft ruptured on a sunny day when raft up on shore for 20 mins or so. Kokopelli replaced it free of charge. Great service. They even shipped it to me in New Zealand for free. They improved the design It now has no concave corners which were the weak points that blew out in the sun."

Q&A

Will this floor fit a Twain-Lite?
Hey John, Yes the inflatable floor will fit in the Twain Lite, but it will not take up the entire length of the floor.
Can you add this to a Rogue-light to then make it into a self-bailer? Been wanting a light packraft for a long hiking trip with class 2-3 rapids.
Hey Logan, Yes the inflatable floor will fit in the Rogue Lite and we have a custom work & repair page where you can get drain holes installed. We don't recommend this but it is possible.
Is this floor compatible with with Recon Spraydeck model? I'm not able to see any boats in the COMPATIBLE PRODUCTS dropdown. Thanks! Appreciate the help.
Hey Matt, Yes you can put the inflatable floor in the spraydeck packrafts. It will make you sit a little higher though so your knees might touch the top of the deck. We have had a few users add a floor and love it..
