3-Point Thigh-Strap Set

Kokopelli’s patent pending 3-point thigh-strap system has been completely redesigned for 2020. The thigh straps feature an EVA molded padded strap for more comfortable support to the interior of your legs.

The 1 in. (2.5cm) mil-spec webbing straps loop through the pre-placed stainless-steel d-rings on your Nirvana and Recon packrafts (2020 and newer) and connect back onto the main strap using a reinforced 1 in. (2.5cm) cam buckle. Using two cam buckles on each strap maintains tension and keeps the thigh straps in place even when the webbing is wet – for a more responsive ride. The third support strap attaches through the mid-point stainless-steel d-ring (on same plate as 2in (5cm) backband attachment point) which connects back through a 0.75in (2cm) tri-glide buckle. Thigh-straps allow for better control in the water.

All Whitewater Series packrafts come outfitted with attachment points for thigh-straps but DO NOT INCLUDE the 3-Point Thigh Strap Set.

To install the thigh straps first orient them with the logos towards your feet and the 3rd point strap to the sides of the packraft. Then run the strap through the d-rings on the boat making sure to run the rear strap under the EVA backband straps. Using the cam strap buckles adjust the thigh straps to the desired position and then connect the 3rd point using the smaller 3/4 in strap by threading it through the mid point d-ring on the packraft and then back through the tri-glide clip on the strap.
