The Hull Identification Number (HIN#) is located in two spots on all Kokopelli boats. One tag is located on the rear-right corner and the other is inside the cockpit near the floor on the right-hand side. The HIN# should be embossed on a black strip and start with the preceding digits 'KRD' with the last two digits being the model year of your boat (ie a 2021 boats ends in '21').

If this product is returned to Kokopelli Outdoor, Inc. or the authorized dealer from which it was purchased, the product must be insured during shipment, with the insurance and shipping charges prepaid by the Buyer. If this product is returned uninsured, the Buyer assumes all risks of loss or damage during shipment.
We ship orders Monday - Friday (excluding holidays). Most orders placed before 12:00pm MST (Mountain Standard Time) ship out the same day or within 24 hours if the inventory is in stock. Orders placed after 12:00pm MST may still ship out the same day but will most likely ship out the following day.
We DO NOT cover any VAT, duties, or import costs for any international orders outside of the United States and Canada. All VAT, duties, and import costs are assessed by the carrier (DHL or your local postal service) and are the responsibility of the customer.

A TiZip is a waterproof, pressure-resistant zipper made to keep water out. For over 20 years, this product has been instrumental in the creation of numerous boats, backpacks, and garments. It’s airtight, interlocking features make this closure even stronger and sealing lips encasing the zipper bolsters its waterproof properties.
How Does a TiZip Keep My Packraft Airtight?
TiZip manufactures four different types of zippers that each have various uses. For our Kokopelli packraft cargo holds, we utilize the Waterseal — a polyurethane zipper with metal slider that is suitable for freshwater and saltwater use. The TIZIP’s plastic teeth are first affixed to strong, polyurethane coated tape and then secured within a sealing lip that envelops the interlocking teeth. Through a time tested and continually tweaked process of welding, sewing, taping, and gluing, the TIZIP is heavy-duty and reliable, ensuring your cargo hold is air and water tight.
How Do I Keep My TiZip in the Best Working Condition?
When you receive your packraft with the added TiZip cargo storage, we’ll also include a special lubricant you will need to apply to the zipper on occasion. Apply the lubricant generously to each side of the opened zipper, then gently slide the TiZip pull back and forth, opening and closing the zipper multiple times to ensure the lubricant evenly coats all teeth.
Additionally, you need to make sure to keep the TiZip clean from debris. Sand and dirt can damage your TiZip over time.
What Can I Store in My Pontoons?
Our packrafts are ultra-durable and built to carry you through multi-day excursions, however, there are a few items that shouldn’t go into the cargo hold. Sharp objects like fishing hooks, rods, or cutting utensils shouldn’t be loosely stored where they can puncture the material. It’s also vital to pack your pontoons evenly so your boat will remain balanced and track evenly. Packing gear isn’t just limited to flatwater paddling trips but can also be used for overnight whitewater rafting as well. Storing items in your packraft’s pontoons doesn’t hinder the boat’s durability or performance.
Nights spent on a riverbank under the stars are made much more comfortable with warm, dry gear. The TiZip zipper allows packrafters to go farther and faster because it provides a safe, protected spot for all overnight essentials. Plus, keeping gear within the boat eliminates the need to strap items on the bow or stern, meaning more room for your precious pup or a cooler full of cold beverages. What if I have an order that includes an in stock product with a pre-ordered or back-ordered product?
Any order containing a boat and/or in-stock accessories plus an out-of-stock product will be delayed until the in-stock item is available unless the customer places two separate orders.
