Feather Pump

$49.95

The best inflation method out there is only getting better!

  1. The Feather Pump now includes a cross-piece on the main inflation nozzle allowing you to keep your valve stem in the closed position (air-in only) during inflation. Compared to the 2020 model where the stem needed to be in the open position, the cross-member slightly opens the stem in the closed position to allow air in but then allows the stem to return to its fully closed position as the pump nozzle is pulled away from the valve, preventing air loss.
  2. To prevent the pump from accidentally turning on in your carry-on or drybag, we've added a three-second hold timer to the on button.
  3. Also new, we upgraded to USB C!

Inflate your packraft in 60 seconds flat with the new Feather Pump. The Feather Pump weighs only 6 oz and will fit in your hand. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery has a 40-minute battery life (or 40 full inflations/deflations) and works with any USB charger like your Goal Zero, solar chargers, battery packs, or cell-phone charger. The Feather Pump uses a USB C cord.

The Feather Pump works great on all packrafts, inflatable kayaks and SUPs as well as your favorite sleeping pad or inflatable mattress (includes 5 different nozzle ends).

NOTE

The Feather Pump is only intended to fill volume (or vacuum out air) and will not pressurize above 0.3 PSI. It will fill about 90% and then an inflation tube or pump is required to get to the full recommended PSI of your Packraft, Kayak or SUP. The Feather Pump is IPX4 water resistant but we recommend storing it in a dry bag while paddling.

It is quick. Fills up

"It is quick. Fills up the Rogue R Deck in about 2 minutes. Very light, easy to pack."

Needs specific instructions for Chasm Lites.

"It works but we can't figure out how to use it hands-free for our Chasm Lites. . . lots of included fitting but none appear correct for these valves? We just press it over the valve and hold it there until it "inflates" to basically just atmospheric pressure. . . because we can't get a positive pump to valve seal. Still better than pumping the entire thing up manually. I think its made more for their kayaks? We'll have to watch some videos . . . maybe we're missing something?"

Q&A

Can I purchase the adaptors separately ? A couple pieces came up missing after my last trip.
Hey Clark, We don;t have extra tips for sale. But the Feather Pump works best as is with no tips. With the valve closed, use the tip of the pump with the cross bar to depress the pin in the valve and inflate the boat.
Does the Feather pump work with HR valves?
Yep! With the valve closed and no tips just use the cross bar on the feather pump to depress the valve and inflate your kayak or sup with an HR valve.
I purchased this to inflate my iSUP, but the required adaptor, which looks like the same type used by inflatable kayaks, was not included. Can the nozzle be ordered separately or do I need a different pump?
You don't need any special adapters. With the valve closed, use the tip of the pump with the cross bar to depress the pin in the valve and inflate the sup.
I purchased a Twain and used the inflation bag to inflate but found that air leaked out rapidly between when I disconnected the bag and could turn the internal valve clockwise to shut off the leak. My finger is too large to reach into the valve opening so I used needle nosed pliers to turn the internal valve stopper clockwise. Very frustrating. I'd like to buy a simple non-battery powered pump that will inflate the boat while ensuring that the valve closes as soon as I disconnect the pump. What pump do you recommend.
Hey Henry, We'd love to help you get the inflation bag set up right. The bag has a cross piece on the tip and will depress the valve while you inflate it in the closed position. So just screw it in, scoop up air, and then squeeze it in. Then unscrew it when you're 90% full and then top it off. But to answer your question, our Feather Pump replaces the bag and makes it easy to inflate the packraft with the valve in the closed position.
Hi there. I have two questions. for someone who is 6'3" and 225 lbs what packraft would you recommend for lakes and class one rivers? And what are the major differences between the Rogue Light and the XPD? The xpd, doesn't pack down as small? what else? thanks so much
Hey Jim, It depends on what water you would liek to paddle, but the Rogue R-deck for flat water, or the Nirvana or Recon Self Bailing for Whitewater. These 3 boats are bigger than the other models and the self bailing boats are better for taller people too.
