...if there was only one

The foremost minimalist Packraft

The award-winning Rogue-Lite was what started it all here at Kokopelli. For years this 5.5lb packs punches far beyond it's weight class and has tagged more firsts, more miles and more rapids than any other of our boats.

Reviews

Tough little boat

"I gotta say, I was very skeptical at first (I actually reached out about returning it when I first opened it) because the material is so thin, I just didn’t trust it. But now after a year and several river trips later, I’m in love. It’s actually really tough and amazingly light. Definitely one of the best purchases I’ve made in years."

Durable, lightweight, bright

"I've had this raft for about 2. 5 years now, and I really love it. I usually take it on the lake or on a river float, and it has held up exceptionally well. I run it into and over rocks, and you can hardly even tell. I also take my dog paddling pretty frequently and she LOVES digging her little claws into the edge of the boat; so far, no scratches, no damage, and no punctures. I feel like a lot of inflatable crafts would have popped by now but not my Kokopelli raft. My only debate at this point is whether or not to compromise the packed size and install a fin for better tracking. This thing is tough to paddle straight. If you're looking for a casual ride, I would buy this as is; if you want something a bit faster and more streamlined, I would suggest buying it and installing the fin."

So much fun in my tiny boat

"Love my rogue! Its so small and light and paddles just like a kayak but a little slower. I've never had any problems keeping up with my friends in their kayaks (I am trying to convince them into getting packrafts tho). I live in Long Beach, CA and take it out into the ocean all the time, its great out when its calm."

Dan (5/5)

Wonderful little boat

"I have loved my nirvana for whitewater but this one has been great for flat water and chill easy river floats. Extremely comfortable to ride in"

Samuel S. (5/5)

Versatile, Packable & Fun!

"I’ve had my Rogue Lite for many years and love using it on alpine lakes when backpacking and day hiking in the Canadian Rockies. I’ve used it many times in winter season and am impressed at the minimal deflation in cold water/air. It fits me (5’8”), my medium sized dog and a dry bag perfectly. Pack rafts are a fantastic tool to experience familiar places in a new way!"

Viktoria (5/5)

SO much fun!

"I have had my Rogue Lite for about 6 years now and I love it so much. It's wonderful for floating down the river or a lazy lake adventure. It definitely does not track well and wind blows it around but that's what my SUP is for. My favorite thing is being able to easily carry it to any location - walk upriver and float down or hike to a lake - and get on the water in 5 minutes. It weighs much less than any of the other junk I bring with me (paddle, waterbottle, lifevest etc)! Sadly my feather pump mysteriously died a month ago but I got a new one and am back on the water again! The bag blow up method also works but the pump is so quick. Thanks for making such an awesome toy, my yellow waterlily has brought me so much fun! :)"

Shamba (5/5)

More Than Satisfied!

"Love it! Easy to deploy, light to hike with, quick to pack up. Made a huge difference in my adventures!"

Keith D. (5/5)

Great 4 fishing

"Love this boat for fishing! I just wish it had a few more d-rings stock. I glued one on the back so I could attach my rod to the side easier. Other than that it’s been great for getting access to spots no one else can touch!"

Benny (4/5)

5 lbs and a ton of fun

"I have 2 of these boats. They have never given me any issues. If I had a problem it would be that I can’t be in them enough. Works sucks. Did I see someone compare them to Walmart booze cruise floaties? They are far from that. As for customer service, had nothing but a great experience when I needed them."

Ryan E. (5/5)

A little short for tall people

"Great boat, but a little small for me. I'm 6'4 and it's pretty tight and I have to have my knees really bent. But I fit in my Recon Selfbailing a lot better since its a few inches longer."

Josh (4/5)

Q&A

Bucket or self bailing? If slf bailing, do you get wet sitting on raft?
The Rogue Lite is a bucket boat. But our self bailing boats like Nirvana Self Bailing, you sit on a floor above the water. You will get wet if paddling through rapids, but you are not sitting in a pool of water the whole time.
The description says that this boat is not compatible with the EVA backband, but I assume that just means that there are not mount points preinstalled on the boat. Using a ladder lock D-ring set or two would make it compatible, correct?
Hey Paul, Correct, you'd have to get 4 d-rings and a sea to summit repair buckle to add a backband to a Hornet Lite or Rogue Lite. Email us if you need more info.
