Perfect for bikepacking, whitewater, it’s pretty much...well, Nirvana for all of your water-accessed adventures.

The Nirvana Spraydeck is designed to keep you high-and-dry while running challenging whitewater, straight from the car or in the backcountry. Featuring our 840d DuPontTM Kevlar® Aramid-Nylon Blend reinforced floor system, a commercial raft grade Leafield D7 valve, a completely redesigned combing ring and a spraydeck, the Nirvana will allow you to surf bigger features without swamping (and getting ejected), and have extra reinforcement in the wear-areas for bikepacking or hauling gear.

Spraydecked packrafts offer a bit more protection from the elements, have extra reinforcement in the wear-areas for bikepacking, and internal tie-downs in the TiZip version for added security.

At just 12lb (5.4kg) and rated for Class I-III Rivers, the Nirvana Spraydeck packs down to the size of a sleeping bag, making it perfect for backcountry trips, hiking, bikepacking, and multi-day adventures.

Add the optional TiZip zipper to store gear inside your packraft for multi-day trips.

DuPontTM and Kevlar® are trademarks or registered trademarks of E.I. du Pont de Nemours. and Company.

The Thigh-Straps and Sprayskirt are an extra accessory and NOT INCLUDED

To get the most out of the Nirvana Spraydeck and keep water out of the packraft we recommend pairing it with a sprayskirt. We have 2 options our Alpine Ultralight Sprayskirt for class 1-2 or our Delta Whitewater Sprayskirt for class 1-3 rapids..

Reviews

Love the spraydeck feature

"I was going back and forth between self bailing and spraydeck and I decided to go spraydeck. I haven’t tried a self bailing version, but I love the features of the deck. It keeps the water from splashing on me, it keeps me warmer in the winter up here in Northern California and protects my legs from the sun during the hot summer days."

Love my pack raft!

"Absolutely love this pack raft! Great quality from Kokopelli! I’m often packing in a good distance to start my floats. The raft is light, packs easy and very quick to setup. It packed down small enough I got it into my 30L roll top bag with some accessories removed. The material feels very durable. I’m not nervous navigating more shallow water. It has been such a fun and convenient raft to have! I absolutely recommend Kokopelli Packrafts!"

Solid boat, very impressed

"This raft and seems well built. Packability is good if you take your time to roll it right. I haven't used in whitewater yet but I don't anticipate having any issues. On flatwater, the raft tracks decently well once youfigure out how it behaves. I could see using this on multiple days long adventures. I did buy a third party pump because the inflation bag was just a pain. It worked, the pump was bought mainly for convenience. . . . plus it had a nifty light. One improvement (imho) is having a removable, zip off deck. Not a deal breaker but it could add some weight savings and flexibility. All in all. . . 10 out of 10. Supremely recommended"

Good for Washington

"I live in the PNW and paddle my Nirvana spray-deck year round up here. The water is always freezing even in the summer, so its nice to be able to not get splashed. Plus I blend in with my kayaker friends more."

Hike and paddle in the Grand Canyon!

"Just got mine and took took it on a canyoneering trip through the Grand Canyon. We hiked down and did 5 rappels to get to the river. Then blew up our boats and paddled 4 miles to our take out. We camped at a beach and then hiked back up to the rim the next morning. What a trip! Thanks for making it possible to explore with these crazy light boats."

Alex F. (5/5)

Versatile and fun

"Love the versatility of this boat. Coming from a background of rafting and hard shell kayaking, I'm surprised at how well it mixes good parts of both of those types of boats--the nirvana punches through holes probably better than my hard shell kayak and still does a decent job catching eddies and peeling out. I bought this boat mainly to do longer multi-day trips, and the space inside the boat is ample for everything you need for multiple weeks! This is both a practical choice but also still a ton of fun"

Eric L. (5/5)

Love it so far!

"Just got a Nirvana Spraydeck for some fall and winter paddling up here in Montana. I did a test run last week and it was great. Be sure to grab a spray skirt! I didn't know it didn't come with the boat."

Andrew (4/5)

Great packraft

"I’ve been on the river twice now and am impressed. I give it a 9 because of the packability and ease of transition with the Nirvana. I’m taking it to the Brooks Range in August for 12 days. That will be the real test. Given that this is a class I to class III whitewater boat it’s probably not the best option for a beginner. That said, it feels incredibly stable compared to a whitewater kayak so would be a good option for someone wanting to tip toe into river running."

Justin S. (5/5)

Still going strong

"Had mine since 2018 and its still going strong. No leaks or holes! Thanks for all the good trips kokopelli!"

Sam (5/5)

The boat for Alaska!

"I live in Anchorage and everyone up here has the Nirvana Spraydeck so I grabbed one too. It's perfect for all the rivers we have up here! Thanks for making greta boats."

Q&A

How is the combing ring and spray deck completely redesigned?
Yes! We recently upgraded our spraydecks to have a little pocket for the coaming ring. You can now unzip a little section and simply slide it in. No more messing with velcro and trying to flip the bungee in place.
