Gear storage can be a question mark, but the Animas River Bag is our answer. With large carrying capacities, the Animas Bag easily fits your packraft, 4-piece breakdown paddles, helmet, PFD, dry-suit, and paddling apparel so you can grab-and-go without a second thought.

The high-performance mesh helps your gear breathe and prevent the funk (but be sure to clean and dry your gear before storage). There are 3 stainless steel d-rings attached at each end of the bag for easy securing to your packraft, IK (inflatable kayak), or raft.

We recommend the Large bag for all TPU packrafts rolled tight, the XL for PVC packrafts rolled tight, or the XXL for all packrafts rolled lightly without folding it up. Check out our Comparison Chart to find the pack size of your packraft.

Large (70L): 28 1/2in x 14in - 2 lbs

XL (100L): 35 1/4in x 15in - 2.4 lbs

XXL (160L): 39in x 18in - 3 lbs

Outstanding

"9 days and 100 miles on the Green and Colorado the delta deck bag was fantastic. My only wish was a handle like the delta dry bag to make it easier to carry up the steep banks through the tamarisks."

Bag it

"The bags were pricey but fit all my gear with extra room for PFDS. It’s great having all my gear ready in one go-bag."

Brian S. (5/5)

XL for the win

"XL fits my Recon perfect!"

Good for storage and throwing in car

"Makes it easy to store pack raft and accessories and bring to a lake. Too big to hike with though."

Packraft Bag

"Just about what you can expect, it’s a bag. It holds all your gear in addition to raft and is a breathable mesh so everything can dry. Glad I bought to keep everything in one spot!"

Product quality 5 Stars, Company Communication: 1 Star

"Love itge product! Fits my Twain 2 person raft with 2 4-part collapsible paddles and 2 PFDs perfectly. I had a really difficult time estimating which size would be the best fits for my needs and lucked out on the first try but I wish kokapelli had provided that information on their product descriptions. A video showing and explaining why the mesh bag is a good idea for a water product would also have been really nice. I tried multiple times to reach someone at the company to ask this question and was unsuccessful. I left messages- nobody ever called me back. Product quality: 5 stars. Company communication: 1 star."

Big enough if you get the 100 liter

"I read reviews and got the bigger bag and I’m glad I did. Having an inflatable raft is the only way kayaking is accessible to me, given that I drive a small car and live in a studio. Space is precious. This 100 liter bag holds my raft, paddle, watershoes, my PDF, all the things. It fits with room to spare. The mesh allows the contents to enjoy all the airflow you give it and it’s tidy. My gear puts away, travels, and stores easily. The only thing I wish for is a long shoulder strap to make toting up a short trail easier."
