This limited-edition throw bag brings together River Station's rescue-gear expertise, Kokopelli's packrafting roots, and High Fives Foundation's mission to help athletes recover from life-changing injuries in outdoor sports. The misty mountain-to-river graphic traces a waterway from alpine peaks into canyon country, while the reinforced, diamond-quilted base holds up to session after session of real use.
A throw bag (or throw rope) is a rescue tool for moving water, the standard piece of safety gear for whitewater kayakers, rafters, packrafters, and swiftwater rescue teams. The rope is stuffed loosely into the bag so it feeds out without tangling when thrown, letting a rescuer on shore get a line to a swimmer. It can also be used to recover pinned boats or line a boat through a rapid from shore. As well as other uses like lowering packrafts down a cliff, tying up boats at camp, using as a handline for portages, or even a drying line for wet clothes at camp.
60 feet of compact rope packs into a quick-access, cinch-top design ready to deploy when seconds count. Super easy to throw accurate at long distances.
5% of proceeds goes to support High Fives Foundation, helping get athletes back to the sports they love after serious injury. Limited edition — once it's gone, it's gone.
